We left Iceland at 11pm, having spent 36 hours in Akureyri.
Beautiful city – our favorite! Low pressure systems are the norm in this part
of the world. We spent the next day rolling in 24’ seas. It doesn’t bother us,
though it’s extremely inconvenient!
As you know, we went through Prince Christian Sound on our
way to the Netherlands but on our return trip, we both got out on the decks for
awhile and got some good pictures. It was barely above freezing.
