Valentine’s Day was beautiful – the ship was decorated with hundreds of heart-shaped Mylar balloons and the floral department had multiple colors of roses spread throughout the vessel. When we returned to our room after breakfast, there were two boxes of Belgium chocolates on our bed – probably the LAST thing I need at this point, but a very nice gesture from Holland America and always appreciated. The chocolates come packed 8 to a box – I only had two left by mid-morning. I’m waiting for Cheryl to open hers…and hoping she shares!
Main Dining Room Decked-Out For Valentine's Day
We dock in Sydney first thing tomorrow morning (Friday), and will be there until Saturday evening. Very much looking forward to picking up where we left off last year, then spending a few hours with Cheryl’s uncle (Ron) before we set sail.
