Ajaccio is a commune on the island of Corsica in France. It’s the capital & largest city of the region of Corsica. We found the city quite nice, and spent the majority of our day wandering the street markets & beach front sidewalks. Very friendly residents & street vendors. The city was a good experience, but nothing out of the ordinary – a chill in the air, with occasional rain. A short day – we docked at 10am and left for Barcelona, Spain at 5:30.
